Report a problem with a published record

publicinformation.ie publishes records released under the Freedom of Information Act 2014. If something published here should not be, tell us and we will act on it.

What to report

• Personal information about you or someone else that should have been redacted before release or before publication.
• Information that is inaccurate, out of date, or misattributed.
• A record you believe was published here in error.

How to report it

Email us at dave@publicinformation.ie. Include the address (URL) of the page, and say what is wrong with it. You do not need to explain why it matters to you.

What we will do

We will acknowledge your report within five working days and tell you what we intend to do about it. Where a report concerns personal data, we will remove the material from public view while we look at it, rather than after.

Removing a page from this site does not remove it from search engine caches immediately. We will ask the major search engines to drop it, but that can take time.
